Family Trip with Meenal @Thailand
Family Trip with Meenal @Thailand
I fed a baby tiger
in Thailand
India has ancient connections with Thailand. The
princess of Thailand is a Sanskrit scholar.
Their kings are known as Rama after Lord Rama and
their old capital was called Ayutta (Ayodhya).
A lot of people equate Bangkok and Pattaya in
Thailand with massage parlous,
lady boys and sleazy places for adult entertainment.
This is unfortunate.
Thailand has so much more to offer to the entire
family.
The Thai people are social, talkative and happy to
serve, which makes
interacting with them a real pleasure. Wherever I
went, I found good hearts,
open arms, and smiling faces. When I reached
Bangkok, I did not want to wait
to reach Pattaya because I had heard so much about
the place.
The moment I reached, I freshened up in my
hotel room and left.
The first place I visited was the
spectacular Nong Nooch Botanical garden, where many wild animals like
tigers, elephants, and leopards are to be seen. I noticed that both children,
as well as adults, were enjoying the green environs
of the garden with its open spaces,
food courts, and spots created for viewing animals.
This is also where I had an experience I can never
forget. I was allowed to take
a fat tiger cub in my hands for feeding. He appeared
to be very hungry and felt like a puppy.
You have to experience this to know how wonderful
it is. I got a chance to take pic with three years old tiger , I am unable to
express my feelings of that time, you have to experience this .
This was at the Sriracha Tiger Zoo.
In Siracha Tiger zoo, you can see crocodile show,
elephant show and many others shows are there. All animals performed so well
that I cant think of that. I salute to all people who organised and doing this type of
shows.
Other places of interest in Pattaya are Khao
Pattaya Viewpoint that offers a beautiful
overview of the surrounding areas, definitely this
place attract more to couples. underwater
world, which is a giant aquarium with a wide variety of fishes, planktons and
other aquatic species, this is best place for all age groups.
There is also the Coral Island, which offers a very colorful underwater experience with lot of water sports, like paragliding, jet
ski, banana boat and many other. I done all water spots…but for experience, you
have to visit this place personally. For any assistance, I am always with you
all. You are given special viewing goggles that allow you to see coloured
corals.
I also saw Dolphins do their tricks at Dolphin
world, which is not something
you get to see in
India. Whether you travel as a couple, family ,as a group or as a
senior citizens group, Pattaya is a beauty!
I ended my trip to
the city with the Alcazar show, where you get to watch traditional dancers
who connect you with the ancient Thai culture. All performers are ‘Lady boy’. This is really a different
experience. One should see this show . How beautiful they are!! And they
performed too good.
Back in Bangkok, I
shopped for shoes, bags, dresses beauty accessories and also
visited some notable places like the Grand Palace, which
is a official residence of the ‘ King of Siam’ but right now it is only
used for Royal Ceremonies and state functions . This Palace is the most popular
tourist attractions in Thailand .
Safari World which is full of animals. Especially Giraffe
feeding activity and spy war show are excellent. Packed Food options are there. Again this place is suitable for
all age group.
Dream World water park with exciting rides,
especially a snow town and the parade shows. Kids will going to enjoy here.
Madam Tussaud's Museum, it a wax museum where you
can touch ,play, kiss to your favorite celebrity , you can take selfie and
enjoy as much as you can. Again this is a best place for all age group.
Buddha
Temple, and the city Museum again a big attraction for all age group.
As far as shopping is concerned, Bangkok is heaven
for women. It makes you breathless.
If you are planning
to do Thailand with your family, you need at least three nights in
Pattaya and two in Bangkok and those who want to do
more shopping for them min three nights.
The rates are pretty affordable if you know where
to go and what to buy.
Hotel and
food are also available at extremely affordable rates. There are so many Indian
restaurants are there, who serve you veg and non veg varieties of food.
Being a short distance from India, Thailand is a
place that one should seriously
look at as a Family Destination.
